Working Principle of an Adsorption Air Dryer
The adsorption process takes place inside two desiccant-filled towers:
- Moist compressed air enters the first tower.
- The desiccant absorbs moisture from the air.
- Dry compressed air exits the dryer for industrial use.
- While one tower is drying the air, the second tower undergoes regeneration to remove accumulated moisture.
- The towers alternate continuously to ensure an uninterrupted supply of dry air.
