PSA Nitrogen Gas Plant

ACTIVE PRINCIPLE

A PSA based nitrogen generating facility has two absorber towers that are loaded with carbon molecular sieve (CMS). Nitrogen gas plant as the product gas after pre-filtered and compressed air is run through the single adsorber, where oxygen is adsorbed on the CMS. Through a silencer, the waste gas (oxygen, carbon dioxide, etc.) is released back into the atmosphere. By depressurizing to ambient pressure, the second tower regenerates while the first tower undergoes adsorption.
